Before we were both Substackers,
and I were just writers flailing around on Twitter. Joe had come across my Red Room Podcast (2011-2022) and asked if I’d be willing to discuss the show Yellowstone. He had just written an article and advised that our politics were likely not the same. Joe’s a Socialist, and I’m whatever passed for a traditional Liberal in the Mid-West of America. I didn’t care that we thought differently. I was thrilled with this conversation, and I hope we do it again. This was before 1883 and 1923.
